Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Test, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in accordance with applicable NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.
  • Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot and repair deficiencies.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.
  • Complete service calls and/or inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
  • On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.
  • Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.
  • Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • NICET II and/or state required certification required (FAST).
  • Minimum 2 years experience inspecting, servicing and/or installing fire alarm systems required.
  • 2 years experience with Intrusion, CCTV, Card Access preferred
  • Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Must have mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule: 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
