Position Overview
As a Project Sales Representative - Fire Sprinkler Systems, you'll work with clients to design, propose, and close fire sprinkler projects, ensuring their systems meet NFPA standards and local compliance requirements. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the complex world of fire protection.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and participation in industry events.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess client fire protection needs and design compliant fire sprinkler solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and professional presentations to decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and design to project close.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on NFPA codes, local regulations, and advancements in sprinkler system technology.
  • Maintain accurate activity records, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM system.

Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required but are not necessarily all-inclusive.
Education & Experience
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in fire sprinkler systems, fire protection, or related life safety industries (required).
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and related fire protection codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.

What We Offer
  • Pay range for this role is On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 - $150,000 annually (base + uncapped commission)
