Job Description
The Senior APS1 Implementation & Testing Lead is responsible for driving the successful onboarding, testing, and launch of financial institutions (FIs) into Elan's digital acquisition programs, with a primary focus on APS1.
This role is highly execution-focused and plays a critical part in accelerating client launches by owning testing, resolving integration issues, and driving readiness across internal teams, external partners, and FI stakeholders.
The position operates at the intersection of digital product implementation, vendor coordination, and technical execution, ensuring FIs move efficiently from onboarding through launch and into production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Testing & Launch Readiness (Primary Focus)
  • Own end-to-end testing for APS1 onboarding, including:

  • Test account setup and validation

  • Widget behavior and offer display verification

  • Data pass-through validation

  • Execute and manage UAT cycles across multiple FIs simultaneously

  • Ensure all readiness criteria are met prior to launch

  • Validate branding, configuration, and customer experience outputs

2. Drive FI Onboarding Through Gate 2 → Launch
  • Actively manage late-stage onboarding activities for FIs

  • Ensure all technical, data, and configuration requirements are completed

  • Push FIs through final readiness steps to achieve go-live

  • Prevent delays by proactively identifying gaps and risks

3. Exception Path Resolution
  • Own resolution of FIs in the Exceptions Path

  • Identify and help resolve:

  • Data gaps

  • Suppression requirements

  • Missing integration inputs

  • Coordinate with FI technical teams, platform providers, and TransUnion to close issues

  • Reduce onboarding delays by accelerating clearance of exception requirements

4. Issue Triage & Resolution Across Partners
  • Act as primary point of coordination for issue resolution across:

  • TransUnion (APS1 widget, prescreen logic)

  • Online banking platforms (Q2, Alkami, Candescent, others)

  • Internal teams and FI partners

  • Quickly diagnose issues and determine likely root cause

  • Assign clear ownership and drive resolution to completion

  • Maintain issue tracking and escalation discipline

5. Vendor & Partner Execution Management
  • Work closely with external partners to ensure timely execution

  • Hold vendors accountable for timelines and deliverables

  • Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment across parties

  • Drive execution momentum across multiple organizations

6. Post-Launch Stabilization & Support
  • Monitor newly launched implementations for issues

  • Address defects, inconsistencies, and production gaps quickly

  • Support white-glove FI implementations and escalations

  • Ensure stable performance following FI launch

7. Process Improvement & Scalability
  • Identify recurring onboarding and testing issues

  • Develop repeatable testing frameworks, checklists, and workflows

  • Improve speed and consistency of FI onboarding

  • Support scaling from limited onboarding to multi-platform execution

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of experience in marketing or related field
Preferred Skills/Experience
5-10+ years experience in:
o Technical project management
o Digital implementations
o Platform onboarding or integration-based roles
Strong experience with:
o Testing / QA / UAT processes
o Multi-party coordination across vendors and stakeholders
o Ability to understand and navigate:
Web-based integrations
Data dependencies and system interactions
o Proven ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams
o Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
o High sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
o Excellent communication skills (clear, direct, concise)
o Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environment
Familiarity with:
o API or widget-based integrations
o Digital banking platforms or customer-facing web systems
o Experience working with third-party vendors (SaaS, martech, or platform providers)

Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
