Job description

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Data Architect in the Columbus area for a contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Maintain Enterprise Data Architecture
  • Data Governance, Quality and Security
  • Integration and Data Flow Management
  • Untangle large, old, complex data environments.
  • Work with legacy platforms or technical debt cleanup.
Skills Required
  • Cloud - AWS (EMR, EKS, S3, Airflow)
  • Snowflake Experience is a big plus.
  • Proficient in data standards and taxonomies across data stores, APIs and Events to ensure the schemas at rest and in motion are in compliance
  • Proficient in Data and Information Architecture practices
  • Ability to work on large-scale data analysis, not narrow or small-scope datasets.
  • Experience organizing and analyzing complex, layered data across multiple systems.
  • Strong data architecture / information architecture mindset.
  • Experience with data modeling.
  • Ability to create or support data contracts.
  • Ability to hit the ground running with limited ramp-up.
  • Experience with MDM, information science, or enterprise data organization.
