A highly analytical Senior Technical Business Analyst is needed to lead requirements engineering across a complex suite of enterprise applications. This role demands strong technical depth, exceptional documentation skills, and the ability to translate intricate business needs into precise, actionable technical specifications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, compliance, and operations teams to ensure solutions are fully defined, clearly understood, and ready for implementation.

Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Elicitation & Analysis

Partner with business teams to gather and document requirements, objectives, and success criteria.

Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to uncover needs, pain points, and dependencies.

Identify and validate business rules, workflows, decision points, and exception scenarios.

System Analysis & Documentation

Conduct deep analysis of existing enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, and constraints.

Identify gaps, enhancement opportunities, and process improvements.

Maintain detailed documentation of system functionality and business processes.

Technical Specification Development

Produce Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), feature specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Apply structured formats such as GIVEN / WHEN / THEN (BDD) when appropriate.

Ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and unambiguous.

Process & Data Modeling

Build process flows, decision trees, state diagrams, and interaction diagrams using tools like Mermaid.js, Visio, Miro, etc.

Document end‑to‑end business processes and system interactions.

Model data entities, relationships, and cross‑system mappings.

API & Integration Analysis

Work with architects to document APIs, integration points, data contracts, and interface requirements.

Analyze JSON payloads, API responses, and data structures.

Document data transformations and mapping requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Act as liaison between business and technical teams.

Facilitate requirement reviews and clarification sessions.

Resolve ambiguities, conflicts, and gaps.

Agile Delivery Support

Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.

Required Experience & SkillsExperience

5–10+ years as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.

Strong background with complex enterprise applications and integrations.

Financial Services / Banking experience strongly preferred.

Technical Acumen

Strong understanding of APIs, REST, JSON, and integration patterns.

Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data mapping.
