Job description

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to support a Contract engagement based in Hartford, Connecticut. This role will focus on delivering accurate, decision-ready financial reporting that helps leaders evaluate performance, compare results across periods, and strengthen planning activities. The position offers an opportunity to contribute across reporting, forecasting, and analysis while helping maintain a well-structured general ledger environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain recurring financial reports that provide clear insight into business performance and support leadership decision-making.
• Prepare profit and loss reporting, including meaningful comparisons between budgeted and actual results as well as current-year and prior-year performance.
• Produce cash flow analyses and other financial summaries to improve visibility into operational and financial trends.
• Build ad hoc and standardized internal reports tailored to stakeholder needs using available reporting tools and data sources.
• Support financial forecasting activities by organizing data, validating assumptions, and presenting forward-looking analyses.
• Establish and manage general ledger accounts to help ensure consistent financial data structure and reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to Oracle Fusion and OneStream implementation-related reporting tasks as part of the broader finance support effort.

• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting within a corporate or enterprise finance environment.

• Proficiency with Oracle and Hyperion Smartview and the ability to generate useful reporting outputs from complex datasets.

• Hands-on capability in ad hoc reporting and preparing customized analyses for business stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of profit and loss statements, cash flow reporting, and variance analysis.

• Experience supporting forecasting, budget-to-actual review, and year-over-year financial comparisons.

• Knowledge of general ledger structures and account setup principles.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to present accurate, organized, and timely financial information.
