POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Planning Analyst provides analytical and administrative support to the Financial Planning team, helping advisors deliver exceptional service to clients and prospective clients. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, preparing meeting materials, managing communications, and supporting the day-to-day operations that keep the planning process running efficiently.

You will report directly to the Director of Financial Planning and have regular interaction with senior executives, department heads, financial planners, clients, prospective clients, and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve asliaisonbetween financial advisors and their established/prospective clients,respondingto their needs ina timelyand professional manner.
  • Schedule and coordinateclient andprospectmeetings as requested.
  • Confirm allclient andprospectappointments forfinancial advisors.
  • Prepare meeting agendas for existing client review meetings.
  • Prepare and print all materialsneeded in client review meetings.
  • Maintain client account records by ensuring all documents are scanned and filed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls for the firmas needed.
  • Assistfinancialadvisorswith calendar maintenance.
  • Assistfinancial advisorsmanageemail trafficas requested.
  • Provide cross-coverageassistancewithin the Financial Planningdepartment.
  • Assist the Director of Financial Planning with projects and tasks as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, and/or 2 successfulinternships in the wealth management industry
  • Must obtain SIE, Series 7, Series 66 and VA Life/Health licenses withinthe first120 daysofemployment.
  • Strong work ethic, client service orientation, job commitment, initiative, organizationalskillsand attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management andanticipatesupport requirements
  • Proficiencywith Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision andmaintaina high degree of confidentialityregardingorganization and personal matters
LOCATION & COMPENSATION

Location: This position is based in our McLean, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of the introductory period.

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is$65,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
