Financial Analysis Business Unit Integrator (Experienced or Senior)

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking anExperienced or SeniorFinancial AnalysisBusiness Unit Integratorto supporttheStrategicMissile DefenseSystemand in specific the Strategic Deterrence Systems programs and Systems Integration Test and Sustainment programs.Interestedcandidateswill be working on site at any of the following locations:

  • Alabama:Huntsville

  • Ohio: Heath

  • Missouri:Hazelwood or St. Charles

  • Utah: Ogden

This role involves supporting multiple contracts supporting the various Strategic Deterrence Systems portfolio and acting as the primary finance focal point for multiple Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes, which includes coordination with program management, engineering, and supplier management, as well as presentations to Senior Executive Leadership. This candidate will also be responsible for the completion of Customer Data Requirements List (CDRLs), administration of Earned Value Management (EVM), and supporting the financial forecast and Long Range Business Plan.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or EACs for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; monthly financial EACs and the quarterly corporate EACs for the various various programs

  • Prepares and reviews numerous Finance CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDARs), Cost Funds Status Report (CFSRs) and Cost Summary Data Report (CSDRs)

  • Oversees EVM processes related to DFARS externally reported programs.

  • Utilizes Cost, Schedule, Planning, and Reporting (CSPR) tools for Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits and ensure compliance with EVM and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Contracts

  • Supports the financial forecast and Long Range Business Plan

  • Makes recommendations to senior management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience

  • Provides finance support for current deliveries while strategically preparing for the demands of upcoming contracts

Financial Operations & Cost Management

  • Manage Day-to-Day Activities:Oversee daily program financial operations, budget allocations, and funding tracking.

  • Control Cost Structure:Maintain the program cost baseline, monitor actual costs, and optimize financial structures.

  • Lead EAC Processing:Coordinate monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates, ensuring accurate final cost projections

Change Management & Reporting

  • Process Change Documents:Implement formal contract modifications and baseline changes into the financial system.

  • Deliver Monthly Reporting:Generate and review monthly financial performance reports and forecasts.

  • Manage CDRL Deliverables:Prepare and submit formal Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) financial reports to the customer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Program Management and Contracts:Providing financial guidance and support for customer deliverables.

  • Partner with CAMs:Guide Control Account Managers through financial planning, variance analysis, and corrective actions.

  • Align with Scheduling:Work closely with the scheduling team to integrate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with cost systems.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related role

  • 1+ years of experience performing EACs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in EVM

  • Experience supporting DFAR contracts

  • Experience with government audits

  • Experience working within an operations-facing finance team, acting as a Business Partner to Managers

  • Experience ofbeing a self-starter, comfortable with establishing required reporting drumbeats and processes
