Job description

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Second Shift Operations Manager in Rochester, NY area! They will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse and fulfillment operations at the facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across all inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director of Operations, Operations Managers, Supervisors, and Associates to ensure the timely and accurate transportation and movement of all inbound/outbound activities within the warehouse.
  • Track and manage daily team performance and volume to ensure SLAs, throughput, and quality of service (DOTIF) objectives are exceeded, while providing feedback and training to associates as needed and serving as the senior-most point of contact and escalation for the operation.
  • Manage and make progress on all market OKRs and KPIs, specifically around DOTIF, quality of service, inventory, and provide a best in class experience to our brand and retail partners
  • Monitor and track team’s adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP) and manage the cohort of operations managers in order to achieve these results.
  • Forecast and monitor staffing needs and schedules of department associates, ensure that requisite staffing and talent levels meet expectations and the requirements of the staffing model.
  • Collaborate with all departments (including Central Ops, Engineering, Finance, and People) to ensure regular and productive cross-department communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding cannabis distribution, including inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and other supply chain partners both internally and externally across the organization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.



Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience within a warehouse or logistics setting
  • 4+ years leadership experience in a warehouse setting
  • Familiarity with various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM)
  • Tenacity and adaptability to navigate the evolving demands of working at a high-growth startup
  • Supply chain/data analysis training or equivalent work experience
