Job description

Schedule: Full time 

Main Function: 

  • Assists the Director with the financial reporting for the department and provides leadership/supervision to the accounts payable specialists.

Job Specific Competencies: 

  •  Demonstrates strong accounting, analytical and computer skills including gathering and presenting data in a logical and professional manner. 
  • Demonstrates a willingness to take initiative and work with minimal direction. 
  • Must be able to communicate and work effectively with associates and management.   
  • Demonstrates skill and confidence in making decisions and prioritizing assignments. 
  • Exhibits leadership skills through being available for staff and providing guidance on a daily basis. 
  • Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, Associates and the health system.

Qualifications: 

  • CPA Preferred 

Education and experience: 

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting 
  • A minimum of five years of financial accounting experience.
  • Must be proficient with various forms of PC software to include Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000/salary 

Starting Pay: Based on experience
