Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst – Excel, QuickBooks & Inventory Specialist

Company: MFNY Processor, LLC
Location: New York (Hudson Valley / NYC – On-site or Hybrid)
Department: Operations & Finance
Reports To: COO / Director of Finance
Type: Full-Time

Compensation Range: $62,500 - $75,500

About MFNY Processor, LLC

MFNY Processor, LLC is a licensed cannabis processor and manufacturer based in New York. We are known for premium extraction, high-quality product development, and operational integrity. As we grow, we are building a team that values precision, data transparency, and efficiency — rooted in compliant and sustainable practices.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst who thrives on turning operational complexity into clear, actionable insights. This role requires deep Excel skills, strong QuickBooks fluency, and the ability to analyze financial statements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work across departments to create models, dashboards, and reporting tools that help MFNY make informed decisions grounded in accurate data.

This is a hands-on role — part desk, part floor — ideal for someone who understands how real-world production translates to bottom-line performance.

Key Responsibilities

Excel-Based Analytics & Reporting

  • Build, maintain, and automate Excel models to monitor production, inventory, and cost metrics
  • Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS), pivot tables, and macros/VBA for reporting
  • Generate recurring dashboards and ad hoc analysis for executive leadership

QuickBooks Reporting & Financial Reconciliation

  • Pull and analyze reports from QuickBooks (P&L, inventory valuation, general ledger, etc.)
  • Reconcile QuickBooks financial data with real-time operational inputs
  • Support monthly close, financial reporting, and variance analysis

Inventory & Production Oversight

  • Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory
  • Track batch yields, throughput, labor utilization, and material loss
  • Support compliance and traceability by ensuring accurate and timely inventory tracking

Sell-Through, Forecasting & Sales Analytics

  • Analyze sell-through by SKU, channel, and product line
  • Build tools to support demand forecasting and production planning
  • Translate sales trends into actionable inventory and production adjustments

Accounting & Financial Oversight

  • Read and interpret P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Apply GAAP and accounting principles to cost tracking and analysis
  • Assist in the allocation of overhead, labor, and materials into unit economics

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move around warehouse and production areas
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for data entry and spreadsheet work
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Comfortable working in changing environments, including inclement weather, storage facilities, and production floors

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in financial or operations analytics
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, macros, formulas, dashboards)
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks reporting and reconciliation
  • Understanding of GAAP, accounting fundamentals, and financial statements
  • Experience in a manufacturing, inventory-heavy, or regulated industry
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, finance, and compliance teams
  • Detail-oriented and self-directed, with strong time-management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in cannabis, CPG, food & beverage, or pharma
  • Familiarity with Canix, ERP systems, or similar platforms
  • Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio) or basic SQL

Why MFNY?

  • Fast-growing, data-driven company in a dynamic regulated industry
  • High-impact role supporting executive decision-making
  • Ownership of operational reporting and analytical frameworks
  • Collaborative team culture with a focus on integrity and innovation
