Hello, My name is Nassim, Recruitment and Business Development Advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specialized in finance positions. I work on both temporary and permanent placements on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your world.

We cover accounting, finance, and payroll roles. I am currently looking for a Financial Analyst for one of my clients, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent hybrid position based in Granby.

Mission Position Overview Reporting to the Finance team, the Financial Analyst contributes to financial monitoring, analysis, and consolidation activities for operations located in Canada and the United States. The individual participates in report production, cost control, and updating financial data to ensure consistency across different business units and corporate functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for cross-functional collaboration and professional development in areas such as margin analysis, financial compliance, and inter-team communication.

Key Responsibilities • Coordination with Finance Functions Collaborate with central finance teams on closing processes and performance tracking. Facilitate the flow of financial information between operational sites and management teams. Participate in month-end activities: journal entry review, variance analysis, and data validation.

Support local teams with invoice management and the preparation of tax reports (GST/QST). Ensure compliance with accounting policies and established deadlines. • Cost Analysis and Performance Contribute to the update of cost models.

Monitor margins by product and by client. Analyze variances between forecasted costs and actual results. Participate in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Support to Internal Teams Work closely with sales and project teams to validate financial information. Provide analytical support in evaluating business opportunities and estimates. Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of data across departments.

Your profile Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting. Interest in manufacturing environments and cost management (an asset).

Professional designation (CPA) considered an advantage. Ability to collaborate with teams located internationally. Key Skills Strong proficiency in Excel and interest in developing analytical tools.

Good communication skills in both French and English (functional level required). Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize information. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous.
