The Strategic Sensors and Precision Strike (SSPS) Product Area team within Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Principal Financial Analyst for the Follow-on-Sustainment phase of the Taiwan Surveillance Radar Program (SRP) and set of Strategic Growth Programs (SGP). The position will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to contribute to a dynamic and critical international program. The selected candidate will have exposure to various functional senior leaders and will work closely with the SRP Program Director, Integrated Product Team Leads, Engineering Business Analysts, Planning & Scheduling, and functional support leads on making sound financial, contractual, and resource decisions for SRP/SGP Programs. In this fast-paced business environment, the selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.

What You Will Do

  • Support the execution of monthly earned value management cost and schedule control processes, analysis, and reporting to program leaders and stakeholders
  • Be a trusted business partner with all internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial execution
  • Brief senior program and functional leaders on program execution status displaying exceptional financial and business acumen
  • Analyze key financial data that will enable sound program decision making; this includes earned value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete (EACs), program investments, and manpower planning
  • Manage and maintain program baselines and ensure accuracy and timeliness of program cost charging aligned to business directives and policies
  • Drive efficiencies, agility, and speed into financial processes utilizing the most up to date digital technology tools, training, and resources.
  • Understand and execute within the guidelines of company and business policies and procedures and ethical standards
  • Deliver monthly financial report to the customer for Strategic Growth Programs
  • Attend reviews and interact with Strategic Growth Programs customer

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools ex. MS Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Estimate At Complete (EAC) process
  • Experience using SAP financial (or similar) accounting system and related reports
  • Pro-active and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced work environment

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
