Position Summary
The Analyst, FP&A - Medicare/Medicaid COGS & Network Performance supports financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for Medicare and Medicaid pharmacy network costs (COGS) within CVS Health's Pharmacy Services business. Reporting to the Manager, FP&A Medicare/Medicaid COGS & Network Performance, this role contributes to COGS budget and forecast development, monitors network margin performance, and provides analytical support for understanding the financial interplay between client guarantees and pharmacy reimbursement. The Analyst helps ensure that COGS is accurately planned, tracked, and explained to Finance and operational leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Up to 2 years of prior relevant and practical experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with large data sets; Tableau or similar visualization tool experience preferred
  • Proficiency in S4/SAP/HANA
  • Analytical skills with the ability to decompose multi-driver variances and communicate findings clearly
  • Effective written and verbal communication; ability to prepare management-ready reporting
  • Collaborative work style with ability to partner across Finance and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial planning and cost analysis experience, ideally in a PBM, managed care, or health benefits environment
  • Understanding of pharmacy COGS drivers including MAC pricing, drug mix, and network utilization


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
