Job Summary and Qualifications

Supports the assigned Sourcing teams in all financial aspects of sourcing events. Works both independently and collaboratively to provide various financial and savings/opportunity analyses. This includes data cleansing, analyzing spend data and vendor proposals, creating complex financial analyses, and summarizing and effectively communicating the financial results of the analyses

What you will do in this role includes:

  • Preparation of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
  • Data cleansing of purchase histories obtained through RFI and internal data sources
  • Accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals
  • Effective communication of analysis results to the Sourcing team
  • Supports the Sourcing team throughout vendor negotiations
  • Ongoing finance assistance as it relates to the management of agreements
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of detailed pricing files for sourcing projects
  • Composes financial memos summarizing the financial value of each project
  • Creates financial impact workbooks for members
  • Evaluates price and product amendments to purchasing agreements
  • Learns, understands, and adheres to the financial analytical standard methodology and processes
  • Develops new methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals when necessary
  • Provides recommendations to improve processes when necessary
  • Helps test tools for automation when necessary
  • Completes ad hoc requests from management
  • Ability to work independently and successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
  • Meets deadlines while managing the financial analysis for multiple projects
  • Interacts daily with both internal and external individuals

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or relevant field - Required
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience - Preferred
