Project Director The Project Director (PD) will have experience as a capture manager, targeting and cultivating strategic business relationships, meeting or exceeding assigned objectives.

The PD will have experience building a pipeline and winning mid-to-large sized (>$25 Million) opportunities. The PD will serve as people leader and Subject Matter Expert for DoD programs and projects. Projects will include Construction Management (CM), Project Controls, and Advisory Services to DoD and related agencies as a prime and on subcontracts to large business partners, Nationwide.

Occasional local and long-distance travel is required for corporate meetings and reporting to customer or project sites. Duties: Strategize on win themes to align with customers' critical needs. Develop a capture plan and lead planning sessions with core support team Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices Plan and participate in Business Development (BD) activities, to include opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration and workshop sessions, and proposal reviews Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts Manage the development and submission of proposals and RFI responses, white papers, and other proposal artifacts as assigned Brief capture status to senior management Conduct postmortem reviews on wins and losses to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions Mentor other capture managers and rotational program staff in the BD process Develop and manage BD budget Cooperate with and lead matrixed teams in a virtual environment Manage staff, billing, invoicing, and all associated tasks with ensuring successful project completion Perform on projects in role of Project Executive, and in other roles as needed Assist in identifying and recruiting project staff Supervise, direct, and provide feedback and performance evaluations to staffRequirements Exemplify company values and culture, being a team player and conducting oneself with high professional ethics Ability to operate office equipment such as personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine, and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools are required.
