Overview

Consilio is seeking early career leaders for our new Strategy and Transformation Analyst Rotational Program. Analysts in the program will work across our global business lines and service portfolio, supporting strategic decisionmaking for both our current and emerging businesses through rigorous market analysis, financial modeling, and executivelevel storytelling. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and crossfunctional business leaders to identify growth opportunities, assess risks, and translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations. The Strategy Analyst plays a critical role in both shaping strategy and supporting its execution across the organization.

This role is based in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Market Analysis

  • Conduct market assessments, industry research, and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
  • Support case studies, market entry analyses, adjacency assessments, and opportunitysizing initiatives across business verticals.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear implications and strategic recommendations.

Financial Modeling & Business Insights

  • Build and maintain financial and operational models to track business performance, unit economics, investment returns, and key strategic metrics.
  • Analyze financial, market, and operational data to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic prioritization.
  • Partner with Finance and Strategy leadership to align assumptions, metrics, and performance indicators. 

ExecutiveLevel Storytelling & Communication

  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling presentations for executive leadership, including strategy reviews, business updates, and investment discussions.
  • Translate complex analyses into actionable insights tailored for senior audiences.
  • Support preparation for boardlevel, ELT, and senior stakeholder meetings.

CrossFunctional Execution Support

  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to support strategic initiatives from analysis through execution.
  • Track progress, milestones, and performance against strategic initiatives led by the Strategy Director.
  • Help operationalize strategic recommendations into practical execution plans.

Process Improvement & Operational Effectiveness

  • Identify process inefficiencies and operational bottlenecks through data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
  • Support the design of process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and speed to market.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to monitor the impact of process improvements over time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, investment analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and casebased problem solving.
  • Strong experience building Excelbased financial models and tracking business or operational performance metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create executiveready materials.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and criticalthinking skills, with comfort working in ambiguous environments. 

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Financial modeling, scenario analysis, and KPI development
  • Market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis
  • Data synthesis and executivelevel storytelling
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Domo (preferred, not required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, or internal strategy teams
  • Exposure to B2B, technology, or professional services environments
  • Experience supporting emerging businesses, new product launches, or growth initiatives
  • Familiarity with Agile, OKRs, or structured problemsolving methodologies
