Job Title: Receptionist
Employment Type: On-site, part-time job with increased seasonal hours from late January through mid-April

Schedule:

·         Tax Season (Late January – April 15):

o    Mon, Tue, Wed: 8:45 AM – 7:30 PM, Sat: 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM

o    Possibly fill in for other shifts, if available

·         Rest of year:

o    Mon: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Tue-Fri: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable receptionist to support our office for the entire year, with extra hours during the busy income tax season. This role is critical in ensuring smooth client interactions and efficient front office operations. This is a great job for people who can work a lot of hours during the wintry months but prefer to work a much lighter schedule for the rest of the year. Key Responsibilities:

·         Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries

·         Schedule, confirm, and manage client appointments

·         Retrieve and respond to voicemail messages

·         Greet clients with a pleasant and professional demeanor

·         Prepare and organize client folders

·         Maintain and file client records accurately

·         Update and manage data input sheets

·         Process and log client payments for completed tax services

·         Monitor and order office supplies as needed

·         Minor office maintenance such as emptying office trash cans and shredders

Qualifications:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

·         Proficient using office technology (phone system, email, scheduling software, handling electronic card payments etc.)

·         Ability to maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor under pressure

·  Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred
