Job description

We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to support a commercial loan and lease portfolio in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This position plays a central role in maintaining accurate transaction processing, portfolio reporting, and customer account activity across the full servicing lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong financial operations experience, sharp analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while improving workflows through modern productivity tools.


Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day servicing activities for a commercial loan and lease portfolio, including applying payments, posting cash, balancing transactions, and resolving account discrepancies.

• Prepare and execute electronic payment files and related fund movements while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.

• Oversee accounts receivable tasks such as issuing invoices, supporting collection efforts, and processing billing corrections when needed.

• Produce payoff calculations, coordinate early settlement requests, and handle end-of-term actions such as renewals, asset returns, and purchase processing.

• Enter newly originated loan and lease agreements into the servicing platform with complete and accurate financial data.

• Perform account reviews, reconcile balances, and develop reports that support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.

• Assist with internal and external audit requests and provide administrative backup support for the servicing system.

• Leverage AI-enabled business tools to streamline reporting, improve productivity, and enhance operational accuracy.

Background:

  • At least 5 years of experience in financial operations, commercial lending, equipment finance, leasing, banking, or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with loan servicing, lease administration, accounts receivable, and cash reconciliation processes.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities, including PivotTables, Power Query, and data analysis functions, along with proficiency in Office 365.
