We are seeking a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to join our North America Finance Operations team. This is a unique dual-focus role that combines ownership of the North American B2B credit function with high-impact Finance Operations projects and process improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in building and managing credit risk capabilities, supporting automation efforts, and driving operational excellence across Finance Operations.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
  • You own and manage the North American B2B credit function, evaluating creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, conducting portfolio reviews, and monitoring risk across a growing customer base.
  • You serve as the first line of independent credit judgment, making informed credit decisions while balancing risk management objectives with commercial business needs.
  • You develop and maintain credit exposure dashboards, portfolio reporting, and key performance metrics, providing leadership with actionable insights and proactive risk identification.
  • You partner closely with SIXT's global Finance Operations team in Germany to ensure alignment with global credit policies, governance standards, and best practices.
  • You lead and support Finance Operations projects focused on process improvement, automation, system enhancements, and operational scalability.
  • You identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting capabilities while supporting treasury-related analyses and cross-functional initiatives.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER
  • Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required. MBA, CPA, Credit Management Certification, or similar professional designation preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, corporate finance, finance operations, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Credit & Financial Analysis - Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, portfolio management, credit policy administration, and commercial credit decision-making.
  • Technical & Analytical Expertise - Advanced Excel skills with experience building financial models, dashboards, KPI reporting, aging analyses, and business insights. Experience with ERP systems, credit management platforms, SAP, Oracle, HighRadius, or similar systems preferred. SQL, Tableau, or Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Process Improvement & Automation - Demonstrated ability to improve business processes, support automation initiatives, implement operational efficiencies, and contribute to scalable solutions across Finance Operations.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management - Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial risks, recommendations, and business insights clearly to leadership, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ownership & Independent Judgment - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure while balancing business growth objectives with prudent risk management practices.
