Job description

Accounts Payable Supervisor
Take the lead in driving efficient, accurate accounts payable operations for a growing multi-location organization. We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee AP processes, develop staff, strengthen internal controls, and ensure timely financial reporting across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day accounts payable operations across multiple locations
  • Partner with procurement and operations teams to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
  • Manage AP staff, providing coaching, training, and performance support
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
  • Oversee monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close activities
  • Improve AP workflows, policies, and electronic payment processes
  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial accuracy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Prior leadership experience supervising and developing accounting staff
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, general ledger functions, and financial close procedures
  • Experience implementing accounting software or process improvements
  • Advanced accounting systems and spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
