Job description

We are looking for a college student to support our Finance team. We will complete any required documentation or paperwork to earn internship credit for school. 
What You Will Be Doing

  • Support Cvent’s Accounting team

  • Enter manual invoices into Great Plains accounting system

  • Review & process daily invoices and expenses

  • Maintain communication with vendors

  • Answer employee inquiries regarding expenses

  • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for the month end close

  • Assist in processing weekly check runs

  • Filing of checks, invoices, and expenses

  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need for this Position

  • The ideal candidate will be able to work 20-25 hours per week during the school year, if possible.

  • Currently enrolled in Accounting or Finance courses, working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • Capable of using MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Able to drive or commute to Cvent’s offices in McLean, VA

  • Prior office experience preferred (but not required)
