Job description

We are looking for a Logistics Technician to help us meet production and quality goals. As a Trex Logistics Technician, you will be responsible for unloading trailers, transporting and maintaining raw materials. This role is key member of our Supply Chain team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Put safety first - always.
  • Work as a team to drive our โ€œpeople firstโ€ culture.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other team members to do the same.
  • Unload van and flatbed deliveries.
  • Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
  • Ensure all incoming deliveries match the company purchase order and/or packing slip.
  • Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts.
  • Understand and be able to perform all job tasks in the receiving office.
  • Assist in maintaining raw materials using the First-In-First-Out methodology.
  • Perform housekeeping duties around raw material and packaging areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

You must also be able to work 12-hour shifts while sitting, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. Forklift experience is preferred. If you have worked as a logistics coordinator, we want to hear from you!
