Physician, Hospitalist Full Time - Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital
Job Type: Full-time Hospitalist, Days
Specialty: Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with INPATIENT Experience
Experience Level: Board Certified / Board Eligible

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our large hospitalist practice, work in a collaborative environment, be part of a strong team with an emphasis on allowing you to practice at the top of your license.

  • Millard Fillmore is a community hospital, with great subspecialist support, closed ICU, about 14-16 per physician, census around 100 daily
  • Schedule could be 7/7 or other option if available on the team

  • Team of Physicians and APP's (over 80 providers)

Position Overview
  • This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, managing complex cases, and ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare provider
  • Conduct thorough evaluations, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
  • Respond to urgent medical situations and provide critical care when needed
  • Participate in rapid and some code duties as required by the hospital

Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school (ACGME)
Licensure: Valid medical license in the New York State
Skills: Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) system
Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Package
  • Annual Base $260-$280K
  • Sign on Bonus Eligible
  • Full Time Employment, Overtime available
  • CME Paid Up to $2,500 based on % FTE status.
