Position Summary
As a Chiropractic Assistant, you are the welcoming face and smooth operator behind our patient experience. You will play a vital role in balancing front-desk patient interactions with hands-on support for our doctors and clinical team.
Whether greeting a first-time patient, scheduling appointments, or preparing treatment areas, your goal will be to create a seamless, efficient, and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Relations & Front Desk Operations
- Warm Greetings & Customer Care: Welcome patients enthusiastically as they arrive and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for.
- Scheduling & Intake: Manage appointment calendars, answer incoming phone calls, check in/out patients, and handle new patient paperwork.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient files, electronic health records (EHR), and daily visit logs while ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Payment Processing: Collect copays, account balances, and process payments accurately.
Clinical & Patient Care Support
- Patient Flow: Escort patients to treatment rooms, assist with getting them prepared for their adjustments or therapies, and maintain an efficient clinic schedule.
- Therapy & Equipment Assistance: Assist doctors by setting up passive therapies (e.g., electrical stimulation, traction tables, heat/ice therapies) as directed.
- Clinic Upkeep: Keep treatment rooms, therapies, and reception areas immaculate, sanitized, and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the doctors, massage therapists, and administrative team to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a medical/chiropractic office, customer service, or retail setting is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, positive, and compassionate demeanor.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning and using clinic software, multi-line phone systems, and basic office equipment.
- Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Passionate About Wellness: An interest in holistic health, chiropractic care, and helping others live healthier lives.
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Part-Time, 25–30 hours per week (Schedule determined during interview).
- Pay Range: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience).
- Work Environment: Supportive, team-oriented health clinic focused on community wellness.
