Amentum is currently seeking an Environmental Coordinator/ Data Manager to support a government contract based in Jacksonville, Florida at Mayport.


POSITION SUMMARY

Assists the Environmental Manager by ensuring that contract requirements are being met. Familiar with contract deliverables and provide requested environmental data to the customer in a timely manner. Maintain all data into the CMMS/Maximo system, hard files, software systems and be able to retrieve requested files as needed.

DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist Environmental Manager on all applicable environmental issues associated with MBOS contract.
  • Be familiar with MBOS contract requirements and coordinate with facility, utility, quality, and safety personnel to meet contract requirements.
  • Familiar with SharePoint.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Assist in preparation of various forms and documents required for environmental compliance.
  • Collect and capture data for – petroleum tank monitoring/ SPCC plan compliance, ozone-depleting substances (ODS)/ refrigerant tracking, storm water inspections and visual monitoring.
  • Hazardous waste compliance data.
  • EPCRA/hazardous material tracking, wastewater compliance data, and water compliance data.
  • Assure that deliverables are submitted timely allow the Environmental Manager time to review/ submit to Quality Control within the required timeframe.
  • Maintain environmental document files.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with Jacobs and government agency representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with federal/state environmental regulations.
  • Experience managing environmental compliance tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Degree in Environmental or related field desired.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
