Job description

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician (File Management) opportunity at NDX Lord's Dental Studio in De Pere, WI

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. 

This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create digital work orders based on incoming prescriptions (Rx)
  • Import and verify correct scan files within each case
  • Review prescriptions, work tickets, and associated notes to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and organize cases for processing within the digital workflow
  • Identify and escalate discrepancies or missing information as needed
  • Maintain organization of digital files and case documentation
  • Support various functions within the digital team as workload requires
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure consistent output
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy
  • Basic technical aptitude and proficiency with computer systems
  • Ability to navigate and manage digital files effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
  • Effective time management skills in a production-driven environment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Familiarity with Magic Touch or similar dental lab software is preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Frequent repetitive use of a computer mouse and keyboard
  • Extended periods working in front of a computer screen
