Storm Guard Roofing of Madison is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of residential roofing and exterior restoration projects throughout the Madison area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, supporting crews, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You'll play a critical role in managing active projects, coordinating with homeowners and crews, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Compensation: $55,000-$85,000+ per year + performance bonuses (based on experience and results)

Your day as a Field Project Manager begins by reviewing active projects and coordinating with crews to ensure each job is set up for success. Throughout the day, you'll travel between job sites, monitor progress, conduct inspections, answer homeowner questions, and help crews overcome challenges that could impact quality, safety, or scheduling. You serve as the primary field contact for customers, helping create a smooth and professional experience from start to finish.

As projects progress, you perform quality control inspections, document milestones, coordinate materials and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed to Storm Guard standards. Behind the scenes, you maintain project records, communicate with internal teams, and proactively solve issues before they affect customer satisfaction. Every action you take helps protect our reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional service.

We ask that you meet the following requirements:

  • Strong understanding of residential roofing and exterior construction practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Experience working with crews, subcontractors, or field personnel
  • Comfortable working outdoors and spending the majority of your time in the field
  • Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably at heights
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proficiency with smartphones, project management software, CRM systems, and digital documentation tools

Preferred qualifications (don't be discouraged if you don't meet these preferences-we will train the right person!):

  • 3+ years of project management, field management, superintendent, or production experience
  • Experience conducting jobsite inspections and quality control reviews
  • Knowledge of siding, gutters, windows, and exterior restoration
  • Experience reading scopes of work, contracts, and construction documentation
  • Experience working directly with homeowners and resolving customer concerns
