Position Description
Position Description: This position is in our Multi-Family & Light Commercial division and is responsible for overseeing projects and handoff through closeout, and coordination of construction activity. Work closely between Installation Teams, Project Estimators/Managers, General Contractors, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Compare the schedule that was used during the bid against the onsite updated schedule to prevent cost overruns
- Review the onsite labor that was assumed during bid time against the current schedule to maximize productivity
- Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule delays, labor challenges, or scope conflicts
- Coordinate material deliveries/packing slips and review purchase orders/invoices
- Schedule equipment rentals, materials, and compare invoices
- Maintain project paperwork including job cards, blueprints, material orders, finish schedules, special notes, and change orders
- Verify installer time reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted timely
- Assist with warranty letters, closeout packages, and final customer sign-off
- Execute & follow through with assignments given by Project Managers, as assigned
- Promote a culture of safety
Other Duties As Assigned: Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the team.
Position Requirements
Experience/Education Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of construction project management, field supervision, or related experience
- Multi-family, flooring, tile, or light commercial construction preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and schedules
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, RFMS, Bluebeam, or related construction software preferred
