Role Overview

The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the Company's requirements, including but not limited to, safety, quality, management, and financial performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the workload distribution and monitor the customer delivery and job installation progress.
  • Plan, organize, and manage installation projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management across multiple installations.
  • Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
  • Reviews all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in the bid process working closely with the sales team on project price points as required.
  • Act as the company liaison with General/Subcontractors and other project related trades.
  • Coordinate and manage all required City, State and Federal government required permitting.
  • Coordinate with inventory control to ensure availability of materials and equipment needed for installations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronic security and life safety systems or a related technical or construction field and supervisory or managerial experience
  • Ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks, and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
  • Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
