Senior Stadium & Venue Operations Manager @ AmericanLegion Memorial Stadium and The Grady Cole Civic Center
MecklenburgCounty Governments Park and Recreation Department is looking for a Dynamic SeniorStadium and Venue Operations Manager to join our team! This position willassist in the management and operation of the American Legion Memorial Stadiumand Grady Cole Civic Center.  American Legion Memorial Stadium is a 9,300seat stadium that was renovated and reopened in 2021.  The stadium is hometo Carolina Ascent FC, Charlotte Independence, Anthem Rugby Club, ACC Men's andWomen's Lacrosse Conference Championships and the Premier Lacrosse League. It also hosts a variety of other events including, football, lacrosse, rugby,festivals and concerts.  The Grady Cole Civic Center, which opened in1956, hosts a wide variety of indoor events.  This position will manageall aspects of facility operations, including development and execution of amaintenance program for the facilities, equipment management, staffsupervision, management of service contracts, inspection of work sites andequipment to ensure compliance with County standards, budget management, eventcontract management, oversight of safety training program related to activitiesin the facilities, and event day management responsibilities (i.e. set-up,trash, site clean-up, etc).  This exempt full-time position will berequired to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the eventschedule.
