In order to strengthen our Accounting team in Ferrari Finanical Services, Inc., we are looking to hire a Accounting specialist (senior level), based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
In this position you will be reponsible Assist in the company's financial closing process related to the general ledger accounts including balance sheet and profit & loss accounts in a timely manner. Maintain accuracy of company financial information while ensuring internal controls and procedures are followed.
As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • onduct general ledger activity related to Ferrari Financial Services business
    • Journal entries
    • Account reconciliations
    • Account analysis
    • Assist with financial statement preparation and submission to Parent company
  • Maintain/update portfolio asset database system and use results to create robust reporting structure
  • Comply with monthly, quarterly and annual public company reporting requirements
  • Manage third party providers regarding accounting, account reconciliations and lease/loan administration system inquiries
  • Coordinate daily dealer funding, including review of contracts and required supporting documentation
  • Review and approve manual journal entries.
  • Regular interaction with colleagues at Maranello factory/prompt response to inquiries required
  • Calculate and review payoffs as requested by the business
  • Verify all dealer finance commission payouts
  • Assist with periodic state reporting requirements
  • Handle tax request and annual audit requests.
  • Ad hoc request and improvements as needed.

In order to succeed in this challenging role Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/ or Finance. 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience required.
The following skills are required to perform the role: Experience with G/L functions and the month-end/year end close process. Experience in auto industry accounting is a plus. Finance company experience is a plus. Public Accounting experience is a plus. CPA is highly desirable. Knowledge of Flexi financial software is a plus. Thorough knowledge cost center and balance sheet analysis. Knowledge of Financial statement flux analysis. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
