Hiring Immediately Automotive Shop Helper

Location: Sterling, VA 20166

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team tire technician experience a plus!

Shop Helper Responsibilities:

Maintain shop and equipment in a clean and orderly condition

Responsible for garbage removal

Assist with refilling paint and supplies in inventory space

Assist other technicians with installations as needed

Pick up and drop off wheels and vehicles locally

Place vehicle on jacks and jack stands

Remove and install wheels and tires, both stock and aftermarket, including oversized tires (training is provided)

Mount, balance, and rotate wheels and tires (training is provided)

Utilize tire equipment and automotive lifts (training is provided)

Provide strong commitment to customer service

Comply with WheelsOnsite's policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned

Shop Helper Qualifications:

Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Ability to lift and carry large, heavy objects (minimum of 75 lbs.)

Ability to identify and use standard and metric automotive hand and power tools

Ability to work independently without daily supervision

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy

documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers and other employees

Experience using tire mounting and balancing equipment is a plus!
