Senior Residential Sales Consultant - Fencing & Outdoor Projects

Colonial Fence Co.

Wrentham, MA • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 4 days ago

Job description

?? Elite Residential Fence Sales Professional (Top 10% Only)

Read this carefully.
If you’re not already a high performer, stop here.

Colonial Fence is a 50+ year, family-owned residential fence company in New England. We are not trying to be the biggest by cutting corners — we are building the best. Structure. Standards. Long-term growth.

We’re opening one seat for a proven residential sales professional who operates in the top 10% of their field and wants to align with a company that matches that standard.

OUR VISION

To build more than fence — to build opportunities, fostering a culture where every team member grows, contributes, and thrives while serving our customers with integrity and excellence.

If you read that and feel alignment — not curiosity — you’re in the right place.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF:
  • You have 5+ years of high-ticket, in-home residential sales experience (preferably fencing)

  • You consistently control the sale — discovery, presentation, objection handling, close

  • You are comfortable closing $10k–$30k+ projects without discounting

  • You manage your pipeline like a professional, not a hobbyist

  • You hold yourself accountable without needing oversight

  • You want to build something long-term, not bounce seat to seat

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR:
  • New or developing salespeople

  • Order-takers or price-presenters

  • “Just give me more leads” mentalities

  • Anyone who blames market conditions, pricing, or operations

If you need motivation, coaching on fundamentals, or constant direction — this is not your seat.

WHAT YOU’LL BE SELLING
  • Premium residential fencing (vinyl, wood, aluminum, chain link, custom gates)

  • A trusted brand with over five decades of reputation behind every proposal

  • Clean scope, disciplined pricing, and systems designed to support closing — not chaos

WHAT WE PROVIDE
  • Qualified appointments (no cold knocking)

  • Real marketing, real demand, real support

  • Clear expectations and performance standards

  • Ownership that invests in people who execute

  • A path to senior sales or leadership as the company scales

COMPENSATION
  • Uncapped, performance-based commission

  • High performers will earn at a high level

  • This role rewards results, professionalism, and consistency — nothing else

FINAL WORD

This is not a job posting — it’s an opportunity.

If you:

  • Take pride in being excellent

  • Expect high standards from yourself and others

  • Want to grow with a company that is building something real

Then apply.

?? Applications without a short, thoughtful introduction explaining why you’re a fit will be ignored.
