Registered Nurse (RN) Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Registered Nurse (RN) Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) is needed in Panama City, FL.

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an opportunity in Panama City, FL. Panama City is a four-season paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and kiteboarding are popular activities on the crystal-blue waters of St. Andrews Bay, with world-class beaches just minutes away.

Numerous charters offer inshore and offshore fishing, scuba, and snorkeling excursions.

Guided day trips are available for dolphin-watching and shelling on uninhabited islands. Fresh, locally caught seafood is featured at many of the restaurants, while some offer live music and waterfront views.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range: $27.72-$39.60 15+ years depending on experience. If you have CNA, LPN, Surg Tech, or Paramedic experience it will count towards your RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care from minor injuries to critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team for excellent patient care.
  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
  • Develop and manage individualized patient care plans.
  • Prioritize multiple cases, ensuring patient needs are met.
  • Offer follow-up care instructions and referrals.
  • Coordinate with physicians and hospital departments.
  • Focus on patient-centered care and safety awareness.

Requirements

  • A current FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure is required. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
  • 3+ years of recent (Within the last year) Acute Care ER RN experience.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting (within the last year) RN experience
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
