The primary responsibility of the Business IntelligenceÂManagerÂis to manage Analytics and reporting team and deploy the solution to various clients. This team consists of severalÂBIÂsubject matter experts, developers, and architects.ÂBIÂManagerÂexecutesÂBIÂstrategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisition, and migrations under leadership guidance. Creates processes and implements governance models aroundÂBIÂsystems and data. Factors in operational simplicity, resiliency, and efficiency into their recommendations and act as a "hands on" technologist, being able to both outline the architecture and clearly articulate/design complex data solutions. This role also provides consultation with end customers and helping them define KPIs and dashboards for an optimal end-user experience.

  • Â Supports and creates Business Intelligence processes, rules of engagement and separation of duties.
  • Â Creates a road-map and delivery schedules for roll-out of analytics solutions to various customers.
  • Â Present dashboard mock-ups and analytics to obtain requirements validation from end-customers. Minimum travel required to meet end-customers in-person
  • Â Manages the resources necessary to plan, coordinate, and deliver solutions to meet various project requirements and manages the demand for new solutions against resource capacity.
  • Â Creates process/data flow maps of links between systems, current processes, areas of opportunity to improve process flows and new systems to integrate.
  • Â Defines and maintains correct roles and responsibilities for team members aligned with application support and maintenance activities.
  • Â Provides complete assessments of the technical characteristics of proposals and alternatives considered to optimize database performance.
  • Â Collaborates with end customers, client and internal technology team including offshore to optimize deployments.
  • Â Ensures the analytics and reporting team is meeting correct expectation as set by management.
  • Â Assists in architecting Business Intelligence solutions and developing strategy.
  • Â Manages Data Imports and Exports). Responsible for ensuring our warehouse and business intelligence tool has the most current, accurate and relevant data possible for our internal customers and determines and recommends enhancements for performance improvement.
  • Â Works with developers to define, score and data architecture. Ensures proper back-end/front-end integration, data flow & ETL processes.
  • Â Defines ways to maximize system use, including identifying opportunities to better use the system to createÂ
  • more efficiency and stronger operations,creating new reports and queries, working with internal team or client. Provide back-end analysis and reporting.
  • Â Creates effective customer and client relationship management. Establishes and maintains communication with
  • business partners and peer IT teams.
  • Â Builds and leverages effective alliances across the enterprise to understand, shape and meet business demand.Â
  • Represents Analytics and reporting team to significant stakeholders.
  • Â Prepares information and makes presentations to various audiences including the executive, senior and mid-level
  • managers and associates.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Â Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Statistics or relatedÂ
  • discipline
  • Â Seven (7) years of experience in Business Intelligence
  • Â Three (3) years experience in aÂmanagerÂlevel role in Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data WarehouseÂ
  • ManagementÂOr equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Â Three (3) years experience inÂmanagerÂlevel role in Database Administration, Engineer/Analyst level role in Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse Management, ETL, or Data Scientist role.
  • Â Work experience with public sector clients preferably in public transportation industry
  • Â 3 years of experience with Talend
  • Â Full stack development experience with Java or .Net
  • Â Work experience with upgrade of legacy client server technologies to newer tech
