Job description

Public - Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for provider examinations.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Administer immunizations and injections following established protocols.
- Perform routine in-office testing and assist with specimen collection as needed.
- Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Prepare exam rooms, maintain clinical supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions as directed by the provider.
- Assist providers with procedures and other clinical tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
- Support the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day.
Public - Required Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills, including administering injections, immunizations, and obtaining vital signs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
