Summary:
BlueStreet is seeking a Government Accounting Senior Consultant to support clients with government compliance requirements, accounting system design, and rate development.
The role focuses on helping government contractors improve accounting operations and comply with FAR and CAS requirements.
Role and Responsibilities:
Government Accounting Compliance
  • Assist with FAR compliance
  • Support CAS compliance
  • Develop accounting policies
  • Perform compliance reviews

Incurred Cost Submissions
  • Prepare Incurred Cost Submissions
  • Prepare supporting schedules
  • Support DCAA audit requests
  • Review cost pools and allocations

Forward Pricing
  • Assist with Forward Pricing Rate Proposals
  • Build rate forecasts
  • Support rate analysis
  • Assist with negotiations

Consulting Work
  • Process documentation
  • Internal control design
  • Accounting transformation
  • ERP advisory (Costpoint preferred)

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years government contractor accounting
  • Experience with FAR / CAS
  • Experience with Incurred Cost Submissions
  • Experience with Forward Pricing
