Position Summary:ย 

The Job Developer is responsible for establishing employer partnerships and sourcing job and apprenticeship opportunities in assigned sectors to meet PACE program demand, providing timely employer feedback to clients, and collaborating closely with Career Advisors and Employment Support Specialists to ensure successful client placement and retention.ย 

What You'll Do

As a Job Developer within the PACE program at Fedcap Inc., you'll lead efforts to connect jobseekers with employment and apprenticeship opportunities aligned with high-demand sectors. You'll actively cultivate employer partnerships, coordinate job fairs and recruitment events, and support job placement outcomes through collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Your work will directly impact on the economic advancement of individuals facing barriers to employment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Build and maintain 30+ active employer partnerships annually across designated sectors to generate job and apprenticeship leads.
  • Source and log 50+ new job orders each quarter into Fedcap CARES within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Achieve 85% job placement for training program graduates within 90 days.
  • Collaborate with the Employment Services Supervisor to launch quarterly marketing campaigns targeting employer partners and track engagement.
  • Facilitate monthly recruitment sessions and workshops, engaging 20+ clients per session to improve readiness.
  • Coordinate at least 4 in-house job fairs annually, each engaging 50+ employers and 200+ clients.
  • Manage referrals to HRA Business Link, ensuring 75% of referred clients are placed within 60 days.
  • Provide employer feedback to clients within 48 hours of interviews to improve success results.
  • Partner with Career Advisors and Employment Support Specialists to re-engage 90%+ of clients who lose employment within 30 days.
  • Maintain 100% accurate records in Fedcap CARES and SEAMS to ensure compliance and quality tracking.
  • Support wage progression goals by identifying strategies that promote 10% annual wage growth for clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, aligned with program targets and contractual goals.

You're a Great Fit If You Have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Education, or a related field, OR equivalent experience in workforce development or job placement
  • 1+ year of experience working in a nonprofit or employment services environment, preferably supporting public assistance recipients or individuals with barriers (homelessness, justice involvement, disabilities, etc.)
  • Strong workshop facilitation or training experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates preferred
  • A track record of successful job development and employer engagement
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems such as Fedcap CARES or SEAMS
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • A commitment to Fedcap's mission of helping individuals achieve economic and social well-being

Compensation

$55,000 annually
