Job description

Purpose & Objective
The Jr. Planner plays a crucial role in analyzing data, margin, and retail pricing for both domestic and international markets. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Retail, Merchandising, Development, Supply Chain, and Sales, ensuring that each product will meet the criteria set by the company. You will be responsible for compiling sales data, identifying areas of improvements, potential risks, and proposing solutions to the collection merchandisers in order to address the market feedback in future collections.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Track weekly and monthly sales by category, channel, and region/store.
  • Anaylze KPIs including sell-through %, full-price sell-through %, AUR, and gross margin.
  • Identify best sellers and underperformers.
  • Monitor stock levels across channels and locations.
  • Track aging inventory.
  • Assist in building seasonal sales forecasts using historical data & trends to project demand.
  • Maintain and update weekly business reports, OTB tracking, and sell-through reports.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience experience in buying, planning, or financial experience, preferably at a vertical fashion retailer.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including index match, v lookups, pivot tables, logic formulas and basic macros.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in team-based settings and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners
