The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Farm Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in Information Systems with a specific focus on SharePoint application administration and must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly build and manage SharePoint farms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and functionality.
Responsibilities:
  • SharePoint Administration:
  • Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint farms.
  • Manage the "Central Administration" web application and utilize STSADM.EXE commands.
  • Configure and manage Shared Services functions, including managed properties, content sources, crawling, profiles, etc.
  • System Administration:
  • Administer IIS, server environments, and Active Directory.
  • Perform LDAP queries, DNS operations, and manage SMTP and Network Load Balancing (NLB).
  • Monitor system performance using Event Viewer and Performance Monitor.
  • Scripting and Automation:
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and management tasks.
  • Provide SharePoint support and developer training to team members.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure the security and integrity of SharePoint environments, including Kerberos and PKI configurations.
  • Troubleshoot network connection and authentication problems.
  • Maintain compliance with ITIL V4 Foundation practices and security protocols.
  • Utility Management:
  • Utilize a variety of utilities such as Process Monitor, Network Monitor, Fiddler, LDAP browsers, KLIST, and ADSIEdit to diagnose and resolve issues.

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in IT related field desired.
  • 6+ years of experience in Information Systems with a specific focus on SharePoint application administration.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience with systems administration.
  • 1-3 years technical experience/knowledge of installation, configuration, and security of server environments.
  • 2+ years experience with SQL.
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Required Skills:
  • Proficient in IIS Management, Server Administration, Active Directory Operation, DNS Operations, SMTP, Network Load Balancing (NLB), Event Viewer, and Performance Monitor.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Broad knowledge of Windows networking and authentication, including Kerberos and PKI.
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting network connection and authentication problems.
  • Familiarity with a variety of diagnostic utilities.
  • Certifications:
  • ITIL V4 Foundation
  • Security+
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
