Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on couples, as well as individual family members across diverse backgrounds and age groups. You will be equipped to handle complex dynamics such as:

  • Supporting families undergoing transitions such as separation and divorce.
  • Addressing issues of blended family dynamics and step-parent relationships.
  • Helping individuals cope with grief, loss, and trauma.
  • Assisting clients in overcoming communication barriers and conflicts.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess an active and unrestricted license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
