Job description

Summary:

The Product Management Intern will be embedded in Cosm’s Digital Product team to support the execution of revenue-driving product initiatives. This is a hands-on role; you will own real deliverables, participate in stakeholder conversations, and contribute directly to product work that impacts Cosm’s guests and business.

We’re looking for someone with strong business instincts, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to be direct. We value candor over polish. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in product management or UX/UI design and wants to build a career in the space.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive research, user analysis, and market benchmarking to inform product decisions and present findings to the team
  • Assist in the coordination of cross-functional workstreams with Engineering, Design, QA, and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to wireframes, user flows, or lightweight prototypes when applicable—particularly if the candidate has UI/UX design skills
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, and product reviews, gaining firsthand exposure to how a product team operates at a fast-growing company
  • Own at least one defined intern project from discovery through delivery, with mentorship from the broader PM team

All Internships Include:

  • Gain hands-on experience with projects that contribute directly to company goals & building your resume.
  • Gain valuable access to Cosm leadership, including our CEO.
  • Build your network by connecting with other interns, your intern buddy, teammates and leaders from across the organization.
  • Join career skill training sessions on best practices for job applications, recruiting and interviewing.
  • Advance your presentation and planning skills.
  • An opportunity to win the "Cosm Education & Career Advancement Award," which is a monetary consideration to further your education and expand your opportunities.
  • Competitive pay
  • Cosm swag bag
  • Depending on job location, you will have the opportunity to visit one of our new venues or experience centers (Los Angeles, Dallas, Salt Lake City or Chadds Ford) where you'll see and feel the extraordinary thrill of Cosm content on our dome screen!

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior at the start of the program (will consider grad students)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Product Management, UX/UI Design, Computer Science, Engineering, Strategy, or related field
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills – able to break down ambiguous problems and propose structured approaches
  • Clear, direct communicator who is comfortable sharing honest perspectives with peers and senior leaders
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action; able to work independently and manage time across multiple priorities
  • Genuine interest in product management, digital experiences, or technology
  • Available to work in a Cosm Office (hybrid)
  • Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S
  • Interest in immersive technology and content

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) or a portfolio demonstrating design thinking and user-centered problem solving, a plus
  • Coursework or project experience in product management, human-computer interaction, or digital product development
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, eCommerce, or event-driven digital experiences
  • Graduate students with prior internship or work experience in product, design, or strategy are strongly encouraged to apply

The pay rate for this position is 18/hr.
