job purpose:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and driving the established HR administration processes and procedures. This role will also partner with other Human Resources team members to ensure successful execution of projects, rollouts, and initiatives.

responsibilities:

  • Offer frontline HR support and guidance to employees by addressing questions, resolving concerns and facilitating positive workplace interactions
  • Accurately enter and maintain up-to-date employee records in HR systems, including new hires, terminations, promotions, disciplinary actions, reporting structure changes, and other personnel updates
  • Perform routine data audits to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring consistent and reliable HR records
  • Supports the hourly recruitment and interview process including pre-employment testing, application and phone screens, coordinating interviews, and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new hires and completion of all e-paperwork in a timely manner
  • Compile and prepare payroll-related data for processing and reporting
  • Administer leave of absence processes in collaboration with the HR Manager
  • Assist with employee relations, investigations, and terminations
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure constructive feedback is gathered and utilized effectively
  • Assist with the planning of company-wide events and community engagement programs and events
  • Partner with the HR Manager to support the planning, coordination and communication of key HR programs
  • Respond to inquiries from outside the company such as employment verifications and unemployment
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to uphold the integrity and accuracy of employee timekeeping and attendance
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying enhancements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience
  • Maintains Human Resources communication boards and information sections in breakrooms including posted/awarded positions, and organization chart photos section
  • Assists with communication of Company events, new employees, & other important information
  • Perform other duties as assigned

skills/qualifications required:

  • 1-3 years' experience in an HR coordinator or similar HR support role
  • Hourly recruiting experience
  • Preferred, manufacturing environment experience
  • Possess strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clear, concise and approachable written and verbal communication
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritized effectively
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities, production demands, and organizational changes
