TRAINING PROVIDED
Hanover Foods Corporation - Centre Hall, PA, is currently seeking a Freezer Operator C. The Freezer Operator C plays a key role in ensuring products are properly frozen and maintained under safe, consistent conditions. Working under close supervision, this entry-level position is responsible for operating and monitoring freezer equipment, maintaining accurate records, and helping maximize production efficiency while minimizing over-temperature product. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and advance to higher-level freezer operator positions.
This entry-level position includes training and a $0.50 32nd Shift Differential. Hanover Foods Corporation offers a competitive rate of pay and comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, prescription drug, and 401(k). We encourage all to apply!
The duties listed below are representative of the types of responsibilities required for the role. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the organization:
  • Monitors freezer equipment regularly and records all required data accurately.
  • Performs frequent product and temperature checks to ensure proper freezing and quality standards.
  • Reports equipment issues, product concerns, or temperature variances promptly to Management.
  • Defrosts equipment as directed by Management or when necessary.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area, including shoveling accumulated snow when required.
  • Provides coverage for other Operators during breaks.
  • Actively seeks opportunities to expand knowledge/skills in preparation for advancement to Freezer Operator B.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and follows good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
  • Follows company policies related to food safety, quality, legality, and security, including HACCP and plant security standards.
  • Completes other tasks and assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to operate a forklift on occasion (training provided if needed).
  • Basic math skills for recording data and monitoring measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced production environment.
