Job description

Job Type: Full-time
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Keystone Aerial Surveys, a Vexcel company is looking for an FAA Licensed Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA). We are a leading provider of high resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data, aerial camera systems, 3D data and fully integrated photogrammetric software. Our data services support government programs, insurance, telecommunications, environmental science, energy, utilities, mining and other industries that rely on accurate digital views of cities and landscapes.

This is a fully onsite position located at KPNE in Philadelphia.

What You Will Do

  • Perform 50 hour inspections including oil changes and AD checks on exhaust systems
  • Complete heavy 50 hour inspections and annual inspections in accordance with IA requirements
  • Install and remove aerial cameras and sensors following all FAA and manufacturer procedures
  • Troubleshoot and complete line maintenance as needed
  • Replace cylinders and engine components
  • Perform sheet metal repairs as required
  • Maintain compliance with all FAA and OSHA guidelines
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records
  • Maintain a clean and safe hangar and work environment
  • Move aircraft and operate ground support equipment
  • Work independently as a self starter with minimal oversight
