Location: Piney Flats, TN | Payrate: $35 - $40/hour | Schedule: 4x10's, 6am to 4:30pm

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace organization to find skilled Aircraft Structures Mechanics who are ready to make a direct impact on world-class aircraft programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install accessories and aftermarket kits.

  • Perform sheet metal and composite structural repairs and modifications.

  • Fabricate mounting provisions for avionics installations.

  • Read and interpret manufacturer drawings and work instructions.

  • Measure, drill, and modify aircraft structures without damaging surrounding components.

  • Accurately document completed work.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.

  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic.

  • FAA Airframe License required.

  • Experience with aircraft structures, sheet metal repairs, and modifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FAA Powerplant License.

  • Experience supporting avionics installations.

Important Requirement

Toolboxes must be shadowed and etched to aviation standards before arrival.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
