Job description

  • The network engineer must 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installation, migration and decommission of F5 Load balancing technologies (GTM, LTM, ASM, APM, AFM).
  • Experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies is a plus.
  • Note - Preferable F5 load balancer experience. If not , experience with any other Global load balancers
  • Relevant 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies (routing/switching) and firewall products and technologies
  • Experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies is a plus.
  • F5 certifications are preferred but not required; equivalent experience is acceptable
  • Strong work ethic in a mission-critical 24x7 diverse environment with multiple vendor/customer relationships
  • Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting languages: Python, Unix
  • Flexible to work in off hours/weekends.
  • Flexible to work in 24x7 on-call rotation(Will get On call responsibility once in 3 weeks, since they will be part of the larger support team)
  • Self-Starter who can take initiative and can work independently and collaboratively.
  • Organized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment.
  • Must have strong communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
  • Strong work ethic with a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals
