Job description

The Work:

You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the performance, security, and reliability of network systems. Your primary responsibilities will include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, with a focus on advanced technologies such as F5 networks and Palo Alto firewalls. You will be tasked with ensuring seamless connectivity, implementing robust security measures, and supporting the organization's mission-critical operations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving network issues, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall network efficiency. To excel in this position, you should have hands-on experience with F5 networks, including load balancing and application delivery, as well as expertise in Palo Alto firewalls for advanced threat prevention and secure network access. Familiarity with Defense environments is highly desirable, as it will provide you with a strong foundation for navigating the unique challenges and compliance requirements of this role. A minimum of five years of professional experience in network administration is required, ensuring you have the technical depth and problem-solving skills necessary to succeed. In addition to your technical expertise, you will benefit from exposure to tools and processes that support network monitoring, incident response, and system optimization. Knowledge of network protocols, security best practices, and enterprise-level infrastructure will be instrumental in your success. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact the organization's operational effectiveness and security posture.

  • Manage and maintain F5 networks
  • Configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls
  • Implement security measures in compliance with DOD standards
  • Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize network infrastructure Minimum

Here's what you need:

  • Five Years of Cloud experience
  • Must have Oracle Cloud experience
  • Prior experience with Defense security requirements (STIG, ACAS etc.)
  • Deep understanding of Cloud networking and security. Experience with Terraform/Tofu and Ansible
  • Exposure to third party Application load balancers (e.g., F5) and Network Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto)
  • Secret / Interim Secret required

 Bonus if you have:

Prior experience with BCAP implementations

Defense experience

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a Secret Clearance
