As our Global Security Specialist, you will take ownership of the operational management of F5's physical security programs worldwide. You will act as a key partner to regional leadership, Digital, HR, and Legal, ensuring that our facilities, sensitive tech spaces, and employees are fully protected and compliant with global standards.
What You'll Do
Access Control & Systems Management

  • System Administration & Troubleshooting: Maintain, administer, and troubleshoot the Enterprise Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV video systems.
  • Identity Integration: Oversee the integration of ACS management software to automate employee access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Key & Hardware Management: Develop and oversee a comprehensive master key program, implement electronic key systems, manage hardware storage, and control badge provisioning and access levels.
ISO 27001 Compliance & Security Governance
  • Audit Readiness: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external ISO 27001 audits. Generate, review, and organize physical access logs and system calibration records as definitive evidence.
  • Access Reviews & Risk: Facilitate documented, quarterly user access reviews. Conduct physical security risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in asset placement and camera coverage.
  • Data Protection & Privacy: Enforce video and log retention policies that meet corporate data governance and global privacy standards, safeguarding data and CCTV footage against unauthorized access.
Physical Perimeter & Network Hardening
  • Hardware Security: Secure all ACS & CCTV systems by establishing strict schedules for firmware updates and software patches.
  • Secure Facilities: Manage secure perimeters, delivery zones, and highly sensitive tech spaces including server rooms, data closets, and R&D labs.
Incident Response, Investigations & Projects
  • Emergency Escalation: Act as the initial escalation point for onsite security issues, specialty door alarms, and emergencies, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
  • Investigations: Monitor cameras for unauthorized activity and review card reader data/CCTV footage to support investigations requested by Legal or HR.
  • Project & Vendor Management: Coordinate global site security deployments (new badge readers, camera layouts, etc). Source, onboard, and manage regional security vendors, reviewing proposals for enterprise projects.
What You'll Bring
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Demonstrated knowledge and ability to independently troubleshoot enterprise-level Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV video networks and their integrations.
  • Education & Experience: A Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Security, Technology Services, Criminal Justice, or Crisis Management-backed by experience in Integrated Security Systems (ISS), physical security, military, intelligence, or law enforcement.
  • Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of ISO 27001 physical security standards and controls (Annex A.7), NDAA Section 889 as well as best practices.
  • Project Management: Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage vendor relationships and lead security installations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).

The annual base pay for this position is: $95,000.00 - $142,600.00
