What is an F45 coach?

F45 Coaches are fitness professionals who lead group training sessions at F45 Training studios. They provide instruction, motivation, and ensure proper exercise techniques during high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts. F45 Coaches also help members set and achieve fitness goals, offer modifications for various fitness levels, and create an inclusive, energetic environment. Their role is crucial in maintaining safety, engagement, and team spirit throughout each class.

What does an F45 coach do?

A typical day for an F45 Coach involves leading multiple high-intensity group training sessions, providing personalized guidance and motivation to members, and ensuring the studio environment is welcoming and safe. Coaches collaborate closely with other trainers and studio managers to deliver consistent workout experiences and maintain member engagement. Beyond running classes, F45 Coaches often assist with member onboarding, track progress, and participate in team meetings to discuss programming and community events. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential, as coaches play a key role in fostering a supportive fitness community.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as an F45 coach?

To thrive as an F45 Coach, you need a solid background in exercise science or personal training, often supported by certifications like NASM, ACE, or similar. Familiarity with interval training systems, heart rate monitoring tools, and F45’s proprietary technology is typically required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, motivational energy, and the ability to adapt coaching styles to diverse groups set top coaches apart. These competencies ensure effective workout delivery, client engagement, and a safe, positive training environment.

Understanding these differences helps individuals choose the right fitness career or service provider.

Do F45 coaches have to be certified?

F45 coaches are required to complete certification programs that cover exercise techniques, safety, and coaching skills before working with clients. Certification ensures they meet industry standards and can effectively lead classes. Ongoing education and certification renewal are often encouraged to maintain coaching quality.

Job description

Studio Coach

Not your typical F45 Coach role – F45 Training South Shore Boston

Here’s the thing...

Not all F45 studios are the same.

And the reality is, not all coaches are the same. They might look the same, but you and I both know there’s something different.

You get those coaches that cheerlead. Countdown from 3-2-1, don’t really know how a member is meant to “feel” because they’re too focused on themselves.

But that’s not you. You’re different. And it’s the same for us.

We are not a ‘Typical’ F45 and as such we’re not looking for a ‘Typical’ coach.

I’m looking forward to adding some strong new recruits to my teams who are memorable coaches and great teammates.

But we need someone ready to dominate. Ready to leave your mark and be remembered as one of the best we’ve had.

Must be a Certified Personal Trainer in Fitness as a Minimum Requirement.

The difference for us is this:

You’re not just looking for a few shifts to just make rent while you figure out your life.

You want to actually be part of something bigger and be valued as a community leader and a great coach. This is you. You want to be the reason why our members achieve greatness in their life.

You’re not just someone who says they're ‘passionate’ about health and fitness because it’s great for your ‘gram. You’re all about it, heck, it probably got you out of a rut at some stage in your life.

You live it, believe it.

You’re not someone who is easily confined to your comfort zone. You’re relentless, you’re thirsty for growth, you’re always looking to sharpen, to improve, to get stronger, fitter, get better, even by just 1% every day.

You’re not someone who isn’t Team F45. This is the best fitness brand in the world. Our members have voted to be in F45, they want coaches around them who have too.

You’re not someone who’s had loads of experience but lack the ability to still be coached and to be humble enough to take feedback and direction.

You’re not a short-term flake, but ready to spend some time crafting your art and willing to do the right thing, the right way for a long time.

In return, what we offer for the right person:

Uncapped earning and development potential, we don’t cap your potential so we don’t cap your earnings and how you can earn money and knowledge.

Strong leadership and coaching on how you can be a better coach, and a loved fitness professional.

Becoming someone meaningful to a lot of people, way different to what normally happens in other studios.

Exposure to how the business actually works, growing your skills and knowledge on how to coach, retain and convert members.

If all of this sounds like the right fit for you, then I’d love to hear from you.

Extra points if you’ve worked at an F45 before, play in team sports, have good availabilities, and have your own transport and can easily get to F45 South Shore Boston [795 Bridge Street, North Weymouth MA 02191]

We want to hire within the next 7-10 days.

Salary: $30 per class $28 per close

Once again, we hire based on character and team players. CPT Required as a minimum.

You ready?

Hit me up. I’m waiting for you.

- Send an email with the subject line saying, “I am your next best COACH!!”

- Attach a 60 second video selling yourself, including when you can start.

- Attach your resume to your application.

NOTE: If you can’t follow the steps above, it shows you don’t have the attention to detail or confidence we need, and you WILL be disqualified. Only the A grade players will do this and get this right. If that’s you, then we want to hear from you.
